The Ethical Investment Symbol signifies that an investment product or service takes environmental, social, ethical and governance considerations into account along with financial returns.

Developed in response to investor requests for help in making informed choices, the Ethical Investment Symbol and Certification Program promotes consistent, standardised disclosure and information about Ethical Investment. See www.responsibleinvestment.org for details.

The Ethical Investment Symbol is the first of its kind in the world and is owned and managed by the RIAA. The Certification Program was created in partnership with the NSW Department of Environment and Conservation and the Victorian Government.

To be licensed to use the Ethical Investment Symbol, Foresters Community Finance Ltd was required to meet strict eligibility requirements for the category of Fund Manager. Foresters was also independently reviewed and key details regarding our Certification are available through the RIAA website at www.responsibleinvestment.org.

The Ethical Investment Symbol is a Registered Trade Mark owned and managed by the RIAA and there are currently five categories: Fund manager, Super fund, Financial adviser, Dealer Group and Non-government organisation (NGO).
