The Fund provides community finance to well-managed small to medium sized community organisations, primarily to assist them to develop community owned assets, such as the premises from which they operate. Owning property helps these organisations to leverage their funding and assets to expand their services.
The portfolio includes loans to community organisations which address a diversity of issues such as homelessness, affordable housing, specialist legal services, domestic violence and community childcare. Their constituents include migrant women, young women at risk of homelessness, people with intellectual disabilities, indigenous communities and other people and communities in need.
