Foresters Members

Membership is the cornerstone of Foresters, reflecting its provenance as a Friendly Society, where members convened to address issues around social and economic exclusion.

Today, Foresters’ Membership provides a collegiate forum – both real and virtual - for the continued input to discussion and development of innovation and investment solutions to overcome financial and social exclusion experienced by some sectors of the Australian community. Such innovation and investment is reflected in the finance vehicles Foresters has taken to the community. These include individual micro finance, community finance and asset building, social enterprise development finance and social investment. We continue to develop and grow our capacity to deliver financial and investment innovation.

Membership is open to individuals and organisations with an interest in addressing social and financial exclusion, whether it is from the demand for such support or the interest in supply of finance to address this issue. In this way our members are at the forefront of the debate and development of innovative and sustainable solutions to community needs.
