Foresters has been on an extraordinary journey over the last 12 months or so, marked by significant growth, which is very exciting! We have commenced a number of new programs all focused on facilitating financial inclusion for individuals, non-profit organisations and social enterprises.
Fair Finance Australia is an individual micro finance program that is part of the Australian Government’s CDFI Pilot. The operational funding has been provided through FaCHSIA and our loan capital through NAB.
Non Profit Finance features our community asset building program. Primarily this program has been running in Victoria, with the support of the Office for the Community Sector and in Queensland with support from Department of Communities.
Social Enterprise Solutions is our program providing access to finance for social enterprises in Australia.
Foresters Membership is an opportunity for our supporters to play an active role in the Foresters community and develop a set of networks with others interested in community finance and social investment.
With all this new activity we have refurbished our offices at Bowen Hills and our staff compliment has grown to 18 people. We look forward to introducing them to you through our newsletter.
