Phase Two: Consultancy and Project Packaging
The appraisals have assisted many organisations to conclude they are in a position to borrow funds to purchase a property. In other situations, organisations have resolved a long term lease is better suited and will enable them to plan for future ownership.
If the appraisal indicates that further planning and development is required, Foresters can provide consultancy services to assist in certain areas as well as leverage a network of skilled experts for specific enterprise knowledge. For more information contact The Arboretum.
Once an appraisal confirms the non-profit organisation is in a strong position to proceed towards asset ownership, the Community Asset Building Process will move to Phase Two. In Phase Two, the focus moves to planning and technical support to assist the organisation to select a property and access necessary funding, which may be in the form of community finance.
With regards to property, Foresters is available to assist with property search and site inspections. In terms of finance requirements Foresters can assist with the negotiations of terms and conditions associated with the loan.
